5 New Federal Jobs at Fort Meade

Despite some uncertainty over federal spending, the government is filling jobs at Fort Meade. There are open positions in human resources, law, intelligence and accounting, among others.

Attorney-Advisor
Agency: Army Intelligence and Security Command
Salary range: $89,033 to $115,742
Duties: Prepares opinions and legal documents, performs research.
Requirements: Law degree, bar membership. Specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level.

Heavy Mobile Equipment Repairer
Agency: U.S. Army Reserve Command
Salary range: $22.92 to $26.84 hourly
Duties: Removing, repairing and replacing mobile equipment units.
Requirements: Must be a member of U.S. Army reserve, must show competence in mechanical maintenance.

Human Resources Officer
Agency: Army, various agencies.
Salary range: $70,000 to $98,000
Duties: Offer range of personnel services for managers and employees.
Requirements: Proven experience as a manager of human resources.

Intelligence Analyst
Agency: U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command
Salary range: $89,033 to $115,742
Duties: Perform analysis of Offensive Counterintelligence Operations
Requirements: Top secret security clearance, experience equivalent to GS/GG-12 level. 

Accounting Technician
Agency: Army Installation Management Command
Salary range: $15-18 per hour. 
Duties: Maintains journals and ledgers, lists purchase orders and invoices
Requirements: Work experience in similar field, ability to type 40 words per minute.
