Pizza Delivery Driver Robbed at Gunpoint

Anne Arundel County Police say three teenagers are suspected in the Severn robbery.

CORRECTION: Anne Arundel County Police released the wrong age for the driver who was robbed. Initial reports said he was 84; police have issued a correction saying he is 24.

A 24-year-old delivery driver for Pizza Hut was robbed at gunpoint Saturday night in Severn, police say.

Anne Arundel County Police say the robbery happened about 7:40 p.m. in the 8200 block of Kilmory Court in Severn.

Police say the driver was attempting to make a delivery outside a residence when three male suspects surrounded him. Two of the suspects reportedly pointed handguns at the man and demanded the pizzas and any cash.

Police say the suspects fled on foot north from the location with money and the order. Multiple officers, along with K-9 and Aviation, searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspects.

The victim was not injured in this event.

The robbery suspects are described as three black males in their late teens, wearing all black with hoodies.
