Armed Man Robs Hanover Gas Station: Police

HANOVER, MD — Authorities are searching for a man who reportedly robbed a Hanover area gas station at gunpoint Sunday.

According to Anne Arundel County Police, the robbery was reported just after 10 a.m. at the Mobile Gas Station at 2756 Annapolis Road in Hanover. The store clerk said the suspect entered the store armed with a gun and demanded money. The clerk turned over the cash and the suspect fled the store.

Officers from Anne Arundel, Maryland State Police, and Maryland Transportation Authority searched the area but could not locate the suspect. Police describe the robber as a black man about 6-feet tall, wearing dark clothing.
