Armed Robber Image from Michael's Store Released: UPDATE
A man armed with a knife attempted to rob the Michaels store at Arundel Mills Mall, according to Anne Arundel County Police.

(Updated at 3:10 p.m.) HANOVER, MD — Authorities have released security camera images of a man armed with a knife attempted to rob a clerk at the Michaels store at Arundel Mills Mall, according to Anne Arundel County Police. The robbery happened Tuesday night at the shop, 7665 Arundel Mills Boulevard in Hanover.
On Wednesday afternoon police said they believe the same suspect robbed Michaels crafts store at Arundel Mills Mall, the Dunkin Donuts at 1348 Ashton Road in Hanover, and the 7-Eleven at 500 Donaldson Avenue in Severn.
The Dunkin' Donuts clerk told officers that a white man wearing dark clothing entered the business and approached the register. The man showed a knife and demanded money from the register.

Police say the suspect ran from the store in an unknown direction, without taking anything. Numerous officers, including canine and aviation units, searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
The store employee was not hurt.
