Arnold Motorcyclist Critically Injured After Striking Deer
An Arnold man was critically injured when his motorcycle struck a deer Friday morning in Gambrills, police say.

GAMBRILLS, MD — An Arnold man was critically injured when his motorcycle struck a deer Friday morning in Gambrills, Anne Arundel County Police say. The accident happened about 9:15 a.m. on Dicus Mill Road at Arabian Court in Gambrills.
Investigators say a 2015 Honda motorcycle driven by Berend Melchior Tober, 57, of the 800 block of Willies Drive in Arnold, was westbound on Dicus Mill Road when it struck a deer in the roadway. Tober was airlifted to R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore with critical injuries.
Police say neither speed nor alcohol appears to have contributed to the crash.
