Arrest Made In Armed Robbery At Odenton 7-Eleven

Anne Arundel County Police have charged a Glen Burnie man with stealing cash and cigarettes from an Odenton 7-Eleven store at gunpoint.

ODENTON, MD — A Glen Burnie man was charged Thursday with stealing cash and cigarettes from an Odenton 7-Eleven store. The robbery was reported about 1:44 p.m. Dec. 6 at the business in the 1300 block of Odenton Road.

Investigators identified Alexander Brown IV, 28, of the 400 block of Silverleaf Court in Glen Burnie, asa suspect in the robbery. Anne Arundel County Police obtained an arrest warrant for Brown and he was located and taken into custody on Thursday. A search warrant was executed at Brown's residence, where the weapon, (a replica .357 pellet gun) and all of the clothing worn during the robbery was reportedly recovered.

Authorities say Brown, wearing a ski mask, entered the store with what was believed to be a handgun and demanded money from the employee, police say. He fled the scene after taking an undisclosed amount of cash and a carton of cigarettes. The suspect was last seen driving a grey two-door sedan.

Brown is currently in custody at the Jennifer Road Detention Center.
