ATM Customer Refuses Armed Robber's Demands
A customer using a drive-through ATM at a Wells Fargo bank in Hanover was confronted by a gunman who demanded money, police say.

HANOVER, MD — A customer using a drive-through ATM at a Wells Fargo bank in Hanover was confronted by a gunman who demanded money. Anne Arundel County Police are searching for a man who tried to rob the customer just before 11 p.m. Tuesday.
The hold-up attempt happened at Wells Fargo Bank, 7568 Ridge Road in Hanover.
The bank customer said the robber approached him on foot and carried a handgun, then demanded money. The victim refused, drove home and called police.

Several officers searched the area but were unable to locate the robber, who wore a bandanna over his face and dark clothing.
