AT&T Brings Faster Network To More Severn Customers

We use our phones to talk, text, tweet, surf and stream… so of course we want to know that our wireless company is working hard to ensure we have super fast speeds and top notch service.

Today, AT&T is excited to announce a new 4G LTE enhancement in Severn, boosting coverage around the intersection of Stevenson Road and Mcnelin Way by the high school.

What does this mean? Students, teachers, visitors and local business can expect faster, improved service. That means that you will be able to send texts to your kids about after school pickup, check the @CATNorth4U twitter feed or check your email faster! We’ve enhanced coverage by alleviating congestion at surrounding cell sites and creating a more robust network.

This is part of a larger effort to enhance AT&T’s network in the area. From 2012 through 2014, AT&T has invested more than $550 million in its network in the region.
