Blind Man Robbed By Group of Suspects: Police
The attack reportedly happened early Thursday in Severn as the victim, who is legally blind, was walking home.

A blind man was reportedly attacked in Severn by several suspects, who choked him and stole his cash, according to Anne Arundel County Police.
Officers were called to the 8500 block of Pioneer Drive in Severn about 12:35 a.m. Thursday for the robbery report. The victim called police once he returned home.
The 25-year-old man, who is legally blind, told investigators he was walking along Pioneer Drive when he was robbed by several suspects. One of them grabbed the victim from behind and began to choke him, while another suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash from the victim’s pocket. The suspects then fled the area on foot.

Police units searched the area in hopes of finding potential witnesses to the attack. The victim was not injured during the robbery.
