Boy Beaten, Cell Phone Stolen In Severn
Two teenagers punched a 13-year-old boy, stole his cell phone and fled in Severn, according to Anne Arundel County Police.

SEVERN, MD — Two teenagers attacked a 13-year-old boy, stole his cell phone and fled down a Severn street, according to Anne Arundel County Police. The assault and robbery took place about 9 p.m. Wednesday in the 7900 block of Canter Court in Severn.
The victim told police officers he was approached by two unknown boys near Canter Court and Gallop Way. The suspects punched and kicked the 13-year-old, and demanded his cell phone.
After taking the phone, the robbers ran from the scene on foot in an unknown direction. Several police units, including aviation and K9, helped search the area for the suspects, but they were not found.

The victim suffered numerous abrasions, but was otherwise unharmed, police say.
Authorities said the suspects are teens between 13 and 18 years old, both wore dark clothing.
