Boys from 12 to 15 Years Old Charged in Vehicle Break-Ins

Three boys from Glen Burnie were caught by police and charged with stealing from cars in Millersville.

MILLERSVILLE, MD — A trio of boys ranging in age from 12 to 15 have been charged with breaking into cars in Millersville, police say.

Anne Arundel County Police were called at 4:21 a.m. to the area of Jerry Road and Jeffery Road on a report that four or five juveniles were in the area tampering with vehicles.

Police found at least three vehicles had been broken into and had items taken.

Officers located the suspects behind the Old Mill shopping plaza and the suspects ran. After a brief foot chase, three of the suspects were apprehended.

The boys reportedly had numerous stolen items from four vehicles in the area, as well as property from thefts that police believe have yet to be reported.

The juveniles were arrested and taken to Eastern District Station for processing. Suspects and charges:

  • 12-year-old boy from Glen Burnie, rogue and vagabond (multiple counts)
  • 14-year-old boy from Glen Burnie, rogue and vagabond (multiple counts)
  • 15-year-old boy from Glen Burnie, rogue and vagabond (multiple counts)

Officers are back in the area Wednesday morning searching for more cars that may have been broken into.
