Piney Orchard Street Festival is on Tomorrow–Rain or Shine. Let's Hope for Shine!

Stream Valley Drive will be closed at 7 a.m. to all local traffic to allow for set up for the festival.  If you're in the area of the Community Center today, you will already see a flurry of activity happening to get ready for a fun day tomorrow!  The best part is, it's open to the public and you can attend the festival for free (unless you decide to buy something from a vendor).

The boy scouts will have an Opening Flag Ceremony at the flag pole at the Community Center at 11 a.m. to start the festival and then the music, games and fun will begin. 

A DJ is being sponsored by Main Scapes Landscaping for the entire day.

Stage A (at the Strawberry Lake Way end of the festival) will have the following bands:
Big Band Caliente is performing from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.;
Mango Marv is performing from 2-4 p.m.; and
Adrenalin (PO Teen Band) from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Stage B will have Arts N' Motion from 1-2 p.m. AND Win Win Gymnastics from 3-4 p.m.

On the Children's Stage by the Community Center:
Mayhem Magical Circus will perform from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. and
Mrs. Sings Kindermusic will perform from 4:00 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.

There will be a moon bounce, dunk tank and tiki climbing wall and LOTS and LOTS of food! There will be all kinds of vendors selling crafts, jewelry, purses, hair accessories, sun glasses, gift baskets, plaster craft, Mary Kay, Tastefully Simple, pet products, fitness products and tooth brushes (Thank you Dr. Greene). 

Perry's Restaurant will be serving beer to those 21 and older and raffling off all kinds of goodies throughout the day. 

There's something for everyone tomorrow. Come on down and enjoy the day - we will be there, rain or shine.
