BWI Runways Reopen After Repair
Two runways at Baltimore-Washington International Airport were temporarily closed Thursday for a repair.

The runways have reopened at Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport on Thursday, Dec. 13. Airport officials announced the reopening of the runways just before 4:30 p.m.
Earlier in the afternoon, authorities said that an airfield light at the intersection of the two primary runways needed an "important repair."
As a result, the runways were closed around 3 p.m.
