Clerk Refuses Armed Robber's Demands: Police
A clerk at an Odenton gas station reportedly said no when an armed robber told him to hand over cash, police say.

ODENTON, MD — A store clerk in Odenton refused to hand over cash to an armed robber, according to Anne Arundel County Police, and luckily the would-be thief gave up.
Anne Arundel County Police were called about 4:30 a.m. Tuesday to the BP gas station at 8749 Piney Orchard Parkway in Odenton for a report of an attempted armed robbery.
The store clerk told police that a white man armed with a handgun entered the store and demanded cash. When the clerk refused to hand over the money, police say the suspect ran out of the station.

Police officers, inckuding K-9 units, searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.
The only description of the suspect so far is a white male.
