Driver Shot While Behind Wheel, Crashes In Severn: Police
Police say they found a "large amount of suspected marijuana" inside the car.

ODENTON, MD — Police say a driver was shot Sunday while behind the wheel in Severn. The driver then crashed his car into a nearby telephone pole, according to an incident report.
The shots were fire around 6:50 p.m., right before the accident near Raleigh Drive and Sebring Court, officers say. Police note that they found the 21-year-old male victim laying on the ground outside his black Volvo.
Medics took the man to the hospital in stable condition. Nobody else was hurt.

Officers claim that they saw a "large amount of suspected marijuana" in plain view inside the car. They seized the supposed drugs for further investigation.
The suspect ran away, the report alleges. Police could not find him.
