Drugs Worth $43K Seized In Odenton Raid: Police

Police found heroin, cocaine, LSD, meth, unregistered guns and more during a drug raid at an Odenton house.

ODENTON, MD — A two-month long investigation has resulted in a huge drug bust at a home on Becknel Avenue in Odenton, where more than $40,000 worth of marijuana, heroin, cocaine and LSD was reportedly seized. Anne Arundel County Police arrested three Odenton residents on various narcotics offenses.

Detectives first opened a Controlled Dangerous Substance investigation on 1369 Becknel Ave. on April 10. On June 7, police executed a search warrant on the home and recovered the following, police said:

  • One loaded .40 caliber Smith and Wesson semi-automatic handgun with 5 rounds
  • One Marlin 30/30 Rifle
  • Multiple rounds of ammunition
  • Mushrooms- 25.35 grams (approx. street value $887)
  • Heroin- 1.0 grams (approx. street value $10)
  • Cocaine- 22.81 grams (approx. street value $2,281)
  • LSD- approx. 120 tabs (approx. street value $2,400)
  • Methamphetamine- 1.07 grams (approx. $130)
  • Marijuana- 1,877.21 grams (approx. street value $37,544)
  • MDMA- 8.15 grams (approx. street value $400)
  • Promethazine w/ Codeine syrup- approx. 7 oz (approx. street value $250)
  • Digital scales, packaging materials and cutting agents.
  • Cash seized $1,864

Police estimated the street value of the illicit drugs at $43,902.

Three residents were arrested and charged with various narcotics offenses, and two suspects not on the scene will be charged, police said. The suspects charged are:

  • Michelle Ann Purvis, 51, of 1300 block of Becknel Avenue in Odenton
  • Paul Carrington Robinson, 27, of 600 Resty Lane in Odenton.
  • Melvin Rio Robinson, 47, of the 1300 block of Becknel Avenue in Odenton, who was also charged for prohibited for firearms that were not registered or stolen, police said.
