Addison was pronounced dead soon after at an unidentified hospital, officers said.
The Anne Arundel County Police Department thinks this was a targeted shooting, not a random act of violence.
"Homicide detectives have been working diligently analyzing physical, biological, and electronic evidence," officers said in a Tuesday press release. "They have conducted many witness interviews and search warrants regarding this case. In doing so, they identified and charged Vanae Lewis with the murder of Naim Addison."
