Fire Breaks Out At The Village At Waugh Chapel: Officials
The space previously occupied by Four Seasons Grille is being renovated and caught on fire, according to the Anne Arundel County Fire Dept.
GAMBRILLS, MD — More than $7,000 worth of damage was done to the space previously occupied by Four Seasons Grille at The Village At Waugh Chapel, 2630 Chapel Lake Drive in Gambrills this past weekend. Anne Arundel County firefighters responded to a call for help Saturday shortly before 4:30 p.m. Both smoke alarms and fire sprinklers had been activated.
It took more than 40 firefighters 40 minutes to control the fire, which was reported by a passerby. Firefighters discovered a fire in the kitchen area at the back of the building, which is being renovated. No damage occurred to adjacent businesses. The cause of the fire is undetermined and being investigated by members of the Anne Arundel County Fire Department Fire and Explosives Investigation Unit.
