Gambrills Traffic Stop Reveals Loaded Handgun, Marijuana: Police
Officers pulled over 25-year-old Maurice Tyrone Brewer in Gambrills and discovered he had marijuana and a loaded handgun in his vehicle.

GAMBRILLS, MD — A 25-year-old Bowie man was apprehended by Anne Arundel County officers Nov. 14 in Gambrills after they pulled him over for "numerous traffic infractions." According to a police report, officers detected the smell of marijuana. Officers then searched the vehicle and found a loaded .38 caliber Smith & Wesson handgun in the glove box.
Officers also discovered a small amount of marijuana. They then arrested Maurice Tyrone Brewer and charged him with having a handgun in his vehicle, having a loaded handgun in his vehicle and possession of contraband.
