Harbor Freight has signed on for its second location in the county, expanding on a footprint that started in Glen Burnie.

ANNE ARUNDEL CO., MD — A national tool retailer has signed on for a second location in the county, establishing a new base in Severna Park.

Harbor Freight is now operating out of the Robinson Crossing shopping center, at 466 Ritchie Highway. The 21,202-square-foot space previously housed a Food Lion grocery store.

Kristina O'Keefe, senior vice president of CRC's retail operations, said in a release that the Harbor Freight addition "brings a strong, value-driven retail offering to Robinson Crossing."

"We are focused on curating shopping environments that serve as convenient, community-centered hubs, and Harbor Freight reflects that commitment," O'Keefe said. "This addition not only enhances the day-to-day experience for our customers but also supports the continued growth and long-term success of the property."

Started in 1977, Harbor Freight operates over 1,600 stores across the nation, of which over 20 are located in Maryland.

The store's first location in the county was opened in Glen Burnie, at 6320 Ritchie Highway.

Both locations have the same hours, welcoming customers from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday. On Sunday, doors stay open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
