Heroin, Cash Seized in Hotel Room Raid: Police

A couple face drug possession and trafficking charges after they were arrested in a Hanover hotel room, police say.

A couple was arrested Monday at a Hanover hotel on multiple drug trafficking and drug possession charges, according to Anne Arundel County Police.

Detectives from the Vice Unit and the Heroin Task Force met with the suspects in their hotel room, where they saw illegal drugs.

After a search of the room, detectives seized about 16 grams of heroin with an estimated street value of $1,600 and about 6 grams of crack cocaine with an estimated street value of $600. Police say $654 in cash was also seized.

The suspects were arrested and charged as follows:

  • Willie Alphonso Rollins, 38, of Newport News, VA, was charged with possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of heroin, possession of cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia (3 counts).
  • Randi Yoko Britton, 33, of Edgewood, was charged with possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of heroin, possession of cocaine and three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.
