Heroin, Ecstasy Found When Severn Woman Stopped By Police
A Severn woman faces drug charges after police reportedly found heroin, Ecstasy and other drugs during a Glen Burnie traffic stop.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A Severn woman faces several drug charges after Anne Arundel County Police say officers found heroin and other drugs she was carrying during a traffic stop in Glen Burnie. Detectives stopped a car just after 10 p.m. Monday on southbound Ritchie Highway at I-695 for failing to yield right-of-way to another vehicle.
As police talked to the driver and her passenger, they reportedly smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle. As the women got out of the vehicle, passenger Cheyenne Alexis Harris, 25, of Severn, handed a detective a partially smoked "blunt" suspected marijuana cigarette, police say.
A search of the vehicle turned up a baggy which belonged to Harris containing 323 empty green/clear gel caps and several types of narcotics: 3.7 grams of marijuana, 4.9 grams of crack cocaine, two tablets of oxycodone, two capsules of suspected MDMA (Ecstasy/Molly), 19 green/clear gel caps of heroin, and $606 in cash.
