Holiday Inn Express Patron Robbed In Hanover

HANOVER, MD — A woman walking from her vehicle to the Holiday Inn Express, 7481 Ridge Road in Hanover, had her purse snatched by a robber, according to Anne Arundel County Police. The mugging happened about 11 p.m. Sunday in the hotel parking lot.

The woman told officers that while she was walking to the hotel she was approached by a man who demanded her property. The robber then grabbed the victim’s purse and fled from the area toward New Ridge Road. Officers searched the area but failed to locate the suspect.

The victim was not injured during the robbery.

Police describe the suspect as a black male, about 18 to 20 years old, 5’7”, and weighing 160 pounds. Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the Western District Detective unit at 410-222-6155.
