Hundreds Of Xanax Pills Seized In Odenton Raid

An Odenton teen has been charged with drug possession; Anne Arundel police detectives find pills, pot and cash in his home.

ODENTON, MD — An Odenton teen is facing narcotics charges after Anne Arundel County police raided his home Thursday night and seized nearly 700 Xanax pills. Austin James Wilburn, 18, of the 1000 block of New Dawn Lane, has been charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, the police announced Friday.

At about 7:15 p.m. Thursday, detectives with a police narcotics unit executed a search warrant at Wilburn's home and seized 664 Xanax pills with an estimated street value of $3,320, the police said in a statement.

The detectives also seized 17.4 grams of marijuana, with an estimated street value of $348, along with a digital scale and $2,203 in cash, the police said.
