Jammin' and Laughing at Local Spots

If you're looking for a night of laughs or just want to kick back and see a band play, Kaufmann's Tavern and Perry's have some options for you this weekend.

in Gambrills will host a comedy night on Friday, featuring Timmy Hall and Adam Ruben.  The show is produced by Kaleidescope Comedy and will be hosted by Jay Miller. Cost: $7. Showtime is 7 p.m.

Timmy Hall is a Baltimore City police officer. According to his official bio, “his take on the police department, the citizens he serve and his roll as a police officer will make you understand why he is definitely a rising star.”

Kaufmann’s will also have live music on Friday from Mike Butler, a singer/storyteller with a popular take on rural life in Maryland.

Also this weekend, in Odenton will have live music on Friday night from reggae and funk band Mad Planet, and then Michael James Baker and the Blue Smoke Blues Band will play on Saturday.
