Kitchen Fire Causes $30K Damage To Severn House
A kitchen fire in a vacant Severn house caused about $30,000 damage, according to the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.

SEVERN, MD — A kitchen fire in a vacant Severn home caused an estimated $30,000 in damage Wednesday morning, according to the Anne Arundel County Fire Department. Callers reported smoke coming from the roof of a house in the 1400 block of Grimm Road about 10:35 a.m.
Firefighters found a one-story single-family dwelling with heavy smoke coming from the eaves. A kitchen fire was located and quickly extinguished.
Members of the Anne Arundel County Fire and Explosives Investigation Unit determined that the cause of the fire was accidental. There were no injuries reported.
