Lyft Driver Reports Being Robbed In Odenton: Police

A Lyft driver told police he was robbed by four male teenagers after giving them a ride in Odenton.

ODENTON, MD — A Lyft driver reported being robbed by four teens Dec. 13 at approximately 9 p.m. Anne Arundel County police officers responded to the call that occurred in the 1800 block of Scaffold Way. The Lyft driver told officers he had given a ride to four teenage males. As they were getting out of his vehicle, one of the teens said he had a gun and demanded the driver hand over his wallet.

The Lyft driver did not comply and took off in his vehicle. No weapon was actually shown, according to a police report. Officers searched the area but could not locate the suspects. Anyone with information is asked to contact detectives at 410-222-6155 or the TipLine at 410-222-4700.
