Man Arrested For Drugs, Stolen Gun Near Airport: Police
A 29-year-old Baltimore man was arrested Saturday by MDTA officers near BWI Airport for possession of drugs and a stolen handgun.

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — A Maryland Transportation Authority police officer assigned to the Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport Detachment stopped a 2002 Honda Accord on Aviation Boulevard at Mathison Way Saturday for failing to display a rear registration plate and an equipment violation.
During a search of the vehicle, officers located a loaded handgun and suspected Fentanyl, cocaine, marijuana and other drugs. The investigation revealed that the handgun was reported stolen out of Richmond County, Ga. The 29-year-old driver from Baltimore was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Anne Arundel County Detention Center. He was charged with possession of a stolen firearm, prohibited person in possession of a handgun, CDS possession with intent to distribute and other drug, weapon and traffic charges.
