Man Attacked, Shot, Robbed While Out Walking In Severn

SEVERN, MD – A man walking in the area of Gray Bird Court and Hawk Court reported being robbed and then shot by an unknown assailant on June 2. The Anne Arundel County Police Department responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim. The 38-year-old male victim had sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

While out walking, a dark colored vehicle drove up and stopped next to the victim, he reported. A male suspect exited the vehicle, displayed a handgun and said he was robbing the man. While emptying his pockets, the suspect struck the male victim with a handgun and shot him, then fled the scene.
