Man Robbed Selling Shoes At Severn 7-Eleven Lot: Police Report
The man selling the shoes believed the buyer was using counterfeit money and grabbed the shoes. The buyer pulled out a gun, police say.
SEVERN, MD — The Anne Arundel County Police Department asks for the public's help in identifying two men who they believe robbed a citizen June 5 at the 7-Eleven store located at 2616 Annapolis Road. The man who was robbed was in the parking lot of the convenience store shortly after 6 p.m. selling shoes to one of the suspects. When the victim realized the suspect was using counterfeit money, he grabbed the shoes back, according to the police department.
Then the suspect pulled out a handgun and demanded the victim turn over the shoes. The victim handed them over and the suspect took off in a blue Toyota on Ridge Road, according to a police report.
