Multiple People Injured In Hanover Shooting, Investigation Underway: Police
A shooting incident is under investigation by Anne Arundel Co. Police after a total of six people suffered gunshot wounds
ODENTON, MD — A total of six people, including two minors, were injured Saturday after a shooting broke out in Hanover.
Anne Arundel County Police said officials were called to the 1300 block of Charwood Road in Hanover around 4:40 a.m. for reports of an "unknown disturbance" tied to a possible shooting and large crowd dispersal.
At the scene, authorities found one man with a gunshot wound to his torso. He was later hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators were alerted to another five injured individuals after they were treated as walk-ins at area hospitals. All five people — two women, two boys and one man — suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Officials have not disclosed how they arrived at the hospitals or if they knew one another before the shooting. Also unclear was how much time had elapsed between the initial dispatch call and notices of the additional injuries.
