Man Shot While Walking Down Severn Street, Officers Search For Suspect: Police

A man was shot while walking down the street in Severn, police said. Officers are still looking for the suspect.

SEVERN, MD — Police announced that a man was shot Saturday while walking down the street in Severn. Medics drove the 25-year-old victim to an unnamed hospital. Authorities expect him to survive, but officers are still looking for the unknown suspect.

The shooting happened around 7:35 p.m. near Stillmeadows Drive and Stewarton Court. Police said an occupant of a silver sedan fired several gunshots at the victim, hitting him once in the lower body. The bullets also struck two parked vehicles, a silver Lexus GS550 sedan and a gray Ram 1500 pick-up truck.
