Men Exchange Gunshots Near Severn Playground: Police
Anne Arundel County Police say no injuries were reported when shots were fired in Severn, but a bullet hit a house.

SEVERN, MD — Two men exchanged gunfire Monday morning near a playground in Severn, with a bullet striking a house, but no injuries reported, according to Anne Arundel County Police.
Officers were called to the area of Carriage Drive and Green Meadow Court in Severn about 8:20 a.m. Monday for multiple reports of gunshots being fired in the area. Witnesses gave police descriptions of two suspects who fired handguns at each other near the playground on Carriage Drive.
One man was last seen on foot near the parking lot of New Colony Court and a second suspect was last seen running between the rear of Green Meadow Court and Old Calvert Court. Authorities say no one was hurt, but a bullet was recovered that struck a residence in the 7900 block of Carriage Drive.

The suspects are described as:
- Suspect 1: Black male, shoulder-length dreadlock hairstyle, thin build and average height, wearing a red T-shirt possibly with unknown logo or writing on front, dark pants, armed with a handgun.
- Suspect 2: Black male, short cut hairstyle, thin build and average height, wearing a dark colored hooded jacket (possibly windbreaker style) and dark colored jeans, carrying a dark colored book bag, armed with a handgun.
