‘Intro to Contact’ starting Sundays in March

6th/7th/8th graders. Home Schoolers welcome.

“Confidence in Contact” curriculum developed by U of MD PhD and USA Coach Peter Baggetta targeting U14 with no prior contact experience.

We teach contact skills: delivering, receiving, and falling safely; as well as evasion skills (avoid contact, score points). This has also been adopted by the Seahawks, Boise State Football, and others to improve tackling skill and safety.

We will most likely scrimmage each other if we get enough folks to come out, and possibly another team or 2 depending on numbers. Possible regional events include MS 7’s at PPL Park in May, Regional All Star XV’s Tourney in Pittsburgh in June. (National Development Camp)
