Millersville Townhouse Kitchen Fire Displaces One Resident

MILLERSVILLE, MD -- A townhouse fire the morning of June 15 has displaced one individual. The property at 558 Belmawr Pl., an end of the row townhouse, reportedly had smoke pouring out of its second floor windows. Thirty-eight firefighters responded and had it under control in 15 minutes.

According to the Anne Arundel County Fire Department, firefighters first on the scene located a fire in the kitchen that had spread to the second floor of the home. No one was home at the time of the fire, but the person who resides there is being assisted by the Red Cross.
