Missing Hanover Teen Found in Columbia
Anne Arundel County Police say Nija Williams was missing since Dec. 21. She was found Jan. 2.

HANOVER, MD — Anne Arundel County Police say a Hanover teenager missing since Dec. 21 was found Saturday in Columbia.
About 6:30 p.m. detectives executed a search and seizure warrant in Howard County in reference to missing 16-year-old Nija Williams. Williams and her dog were recovered and are both well, according to police.
Last week, the department again posted a photo of Williams on its Facebook page asking the public to share the information in hopes of getting her home.

Williams left her home on Forest Creek Drive in Hanover on Dec. 21. Her family believed she was with a male individual who lives in the Philadelphia area.
