Murder-Suicide Suspected in Annapolis Junction Deaths

Anne Arundel County Police hope witnesses will come forward in the deaths of a man and woman.

ANNAPOLIS JUNCTION, MD — The bodies of two people found dead in western Anne Arundel County Wednesday may be the victims of a murder-suicide, authorities said.

Anne Arundel County Police officers were called about 1 p.m. Wednesday to the area of Market Street and Baltimore Street in Annapolis Junction on a report of two deceased people. The bodies of a man and a woman were found outside in a fenced lot.

Homicide detectives are on the scene and investigating. At this time the identity of the couple and cause and manner of deaths are unknown.

Investigators believe the deaths may be a murder-suicide. Police say they do not believe there is a threat or public safety issue.
