A man and woman from Odenton are charged with burglary after police found someone cut through the wall of a business.
ODENTON, MD — An Odenton couple are charged with sawing their way through the back wall of a commercial building, tripping a security alarm early Wednesday morning, police say.
Anne Arundel County Police were called to a string of businesses at 1692 Annapolis Road for a burglar alarm. When officers arrived they began checking the complex and spotted the door to a utility room was slightly ajar. While checking the room, officers found a hole in the wall behind two 6-foot water-holding tanks.
As officers checked the area they stopped a man and a woman who were nearby on Charter Oaks Boulevard near Route 175. Once a manager opened the business, police could see that someone had entered the utility room, squeezed between the two holding tanks and used a sheetrock saw to cut a hole in the wall.
