Odenton Driver Killed After Camaro Veers Off Road Into Trees: Police

ODENTON, MD — An Odenton man died in a single-vehicle crash that happened about 2 a.m. Friday, according to Anne Arundel County Police.

Collin Anthony Acklin, 21, was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Camaro westbound on Waugh Chapel Road approaching Haymeadow Court when the car went off the road and struck several trees.

Acklin was the only person in the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Anne Arundel County Fire Department personnel, a news release said.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
