Odenton Farmers Market Kicks Off June 6

ODENTON, MD -- Residents seeking fresh, locally grown produce and other yummies should pop by the farmers market held in the Piney Orchard Community and Visitor Center parking lot at 2400 Stream Valley Rd. in Odenton. The farmers market is held every Wednesday from 2 to 6:30 p.m. beginning June 6 and running through Oct. 24. It takes a short break, then picks back up in November.

The producer-only market sells goods that are grown or made directly by the vendors. Shoppers will find produce such as corn, heirloom tomatoes, apples, gourmet foods, wine, baked goods and more. Fort Meade used to host a farmers' market every Wednesday at the Meade Pavilion but is not holding one this year, according to the base.
