Odenton Kitchen Fire Displaces Four: Officials
A fire broke out in the kitchen of an Odenton home that quickly spread to the house's second floor. Four adults have been displaced.
ODENTON, MD — A kitchen fire broke out Jan. 10 in an Odenton home after food cooking on the stove was left unattended. Anne Arundel County firefighters were dispatched to the two-story single-family home at 2506 Flowering Tree Lane shortly before 5 p.m. Almost 40 firefighters from three fire departments responded.
The fire had already spread to the second floor of the home before firefighters arrived. It was extinguished in 15 minutes. Four adults have since been displaced and are being assisted by the Red Cross.
