Odenton Man Arrested in Thefts from Car
Anne Arundel County Police remind residents to always lock their vehicles; suspect allegedly found with iPods, cell phone and more.

ODENTON, MD — An alert Anne Arundel County Police officer on patrol caught an Odenton man as he was rifling through a car early Wednesday morning.
Authorities reminded residents to lock their vehicles as reports of thefts increases.

The officer on patrol just before 3:30 a.m. near Sunflower Drive and Indian Summer Drive in Odenton reportedly saw a man dressed in black rummaging through the interior of a car.
The officer detained the suspect, who was found with two Apple iPods, a cell phone, phone/iPod chargers, headphones, and change belonging to the car’s owner.

The vehicle owner was located and confirmed theft.
Suspect Antoine Malik James, 20, of 2653 April Dawn Way in Odenton, was charged with theft and rogue and vagabond.
