Odenton Man Charged in Davidsonville, Millersville Burglaries

Jewelry was stolen from homes in Davidsonville and Millersville, then pawned for cash, allegedly by an Odenton man, police say.

DAVIDSONVILLE, MD — An Odenton man has been charged with stealing jewelry from homes in Millersville and Davidsonville, and selling the bling for cash, according to Anne Arundel County Police. More charges are likely for the suspect, who is under investigation by multiple police agencies for similar crimes.

Kyle Mundy, 32, of the 400 block of Maple Ridge Lane in Odenton, has recently been charged with numerous burglaries in several jurisdictions, police say.

The first local burglary that police reportedly linked to Mundy was reported July 27 in the 2500 block of Vale Court in Davidsonville. Numerous pieces of property, including jewelry, were stolen from the home.

Detectives say some of the jewelry stolen during the Davidsonville burglary was sold to various pawn and jewelry shops in Baltimore, Nottingham, and Ellicott City, and Mundy received cash in exchange for the stolen items.

A burglary reported on Aug. 19 in the 1300 block of Antrim Drive in Millersville also left the homeowner missing numerous pieces of property, including jewelry that was sold to a pawn shop in Nottingham.

In both cases, the victims later identified the pawned jewelry as property that was taken from their homes during the burglaries.

Authorities have not released a booking photo of Munday.
