Odenton Men Arrested For Target Shooting In The Woods: Police

There were no homes struck in the area or any other damage discovered as a result of the suspects discharging the firearms.

ODENTON, MD — Two men target shooting in a wooded area of Odenton have been arrested. Anne Arundel County police officers responded to a call March 18 at approximately 3:50 p.m. for shots fired in the area of Pinecove Avenue. When officers arrived and found a group of men shooting, the suspects took off running. Officers were able to detain two of the suspects but could not find the others.

A Smith & Wesson 9mm pistol, a Taurus 9mm pistol and 50 live rounds of 9mm ammunition were found at the location where the suspects were shooting. There were no homes struck in the area or any other damage discovered as a result of the suspects discharging the firearms. Sa’vyon Xavier Frith, 21, of Odenton, was charged with reckless endangerment, handgun on a person, and resisting/interfering with arrest. Zachary Royce Jefferson, 21, of Odenton, was charged with reckless endangerment and handgun on a person.
