Odenton Pizza Worker Foils Knife-Wielding Robber
Anne Arundel County Police say an employee at Today's Pizza in Odenton got the better of an armed robber.

ODENTON, MD — An Odenton restaurant employee reportedly wrestled with a knife-wielding teen and thwarted his robbery attempt late Thursday night, according to Anne Arundel County Police. The hold-up attempt happened about 10:30 p.m. at Today’s Pizza, 1215 Annapolis Road in Odenton but the employee waited about an hour to report the crime, officials say.
The worker told police the suspect entered the business after it had closed and requested food. When the employee said the business was closed, the suspect demanded food again and then walked around the counter holding a knife. Police say the employee grabbed the suspect’s hand with the knife and pushed him out of the store.
Nothing was taken from the restaurant. The suspect fled on foot to the rear of the shopping center.
