Odenton Robber Arrested, 2 Suspects On Loose: Police
An Odenton man has been charged with attacking a Severn man who refused to hand over his money to three men, police say.

SEVERN, MD — An Odenton man has been charged with attacking a Severn man who refused to hand over his money to three robbers, Anne Arundel County Police say. The attempted robbery happened about 2 a.m. Saturday in the 8200 block of Monhegan Court in Severn.
The victim told police he was approached by three men and one of them struck him in the head several times while another held him and demanded his money. When the victim refused to hand over his money, the suspects ran away.
Several officers searched the area and found one of the accused robbers, who was caught and arrested after a short foot chase.

The victim was treated at a local hospital for a head injury and released.
Police have charged Stephon George McDonald, 27, of the 1400 block of Berger Street in Odenton, in the robbery. Investigators are still searching for two men between 20 and 25 years old who allegedly helped McDonald attack the victim.
