Odenton Stabbing Suspect Charged With Assault

A man has been charged with stabbing a man near two Odenton restaurants/bars over the weekend, police say.

ODENTON, MD — Anne Arundel County Police have filed assault charges against Tyrell Brown, 49, of no fixed address, for a weekend stabbing in Odenton. The victim was attacked shortly before 11 p.m. on March 22 in the 1600 block of Annapolis Road.

He told police he was in the area of KFC and My Place Bar when he was stabbed by a man he only knew by a nickname. The victim was taken to a local trauma center with non-life-threatening injuries. Detectives identified the accused attacker as Brown; he was charged with first-degree assault, second-degree assault and reckless endangerment.
