Odenton Subway Robbed At Gunpoint

ODENTON, MD — Anne Arundel County Police say an armed man robbed an Odenton Subway shop Wednesday afternoon. The holdup was reported just before 5 p.m. at the Subway located at 8765 Piney Orchard Parkway.

An employee told police the suspect entered the store with a handgun, and demanded money. The employee gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash and the robber fled the scene on foot.

Several units searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. There were no injuries reported, police say.

The suspect is described as a man about 6’02”, approximate 220 pounds, wearing blue jeans, and a dark colored hat.
