Odenton Teen Arrested for Thefts from Cars
Anne Arundel County Police say they chased and caught a 17-year-old theft suspect, while another youth got away.

ODENTON, MD — One teenager was charged with stealing computers and other devices from Odenton cars, and another underage suspect is on the loose, authorities say.
A resident in the 600 block of Lions Gate Lane in Odenton called Anne Arundel County Police just after 2:30 a.m. Thursday to report they saw two males wearing dark clothing and backpacks pulling on vehicle doors.
Officers arrived in the area and immediately located the two suspects, who fled on foot. After a lengthy foot chase, officers caught one suspect, a 17-year-old from Odenton.

The backpack the suspect carried contained numerous computers, GPS units, and a large amount of loose change, police said.
The caller identified the suspect and he was arrested.

While officers didn’t find the second suspect, they found the backpack he dropped as he fled from officers. Inside the backpack, police reportedly found items taken from vehicles.
So far, police have located four victims who live in the 400 block of Lions Gate Lane. Officers went back to the neighborhood Thursday morning in an effort to locate more victims.
