Odenton Volunteer Fire Company Commended For Flag Pole Relocation

ODENTON, MD -- On May 15, 2019, Mark Deeds, president of the John Paul Jones Chapter of the Maryland Society of the Sons of the American Revolution, presented a certificate to the Odenton Volunteer Fire Company with President Craig Harman accepting.

The certificate was in recognition of the fire company’s displaying of the American flag. The fire company recently relocated its flagpole for better visibility. Deeds’ organization seeks to recognize organizations and individuals who regularly display and respect the American flag. He has noted the flag flying proudly every time he passes the fire station and wanted to recognize the company.
